Production Management
In order to run your plant efficiently, you need accurate real time inventory information. At ASSIST we strongly believe that an effective production management system must be exceptionally easy to use. We've built one. Our Warehouse Management System, ASSISTics, has all of the barcoded transactions you will need to run your plant and manage your inventory. Click here to learn more about ASSISTics.
Barcoding helps, but we know that it takes more to make ADAGE1 easy for you. Here is a list of some other production related projects we have worked on.
Automatic Lot Generation
In the newer releases, you have the ability to automatically create a lot when a production order is created. We have retrofitted this ability to older releases, and also built routines that create lots at the time production is first reported.
Scheduling Package Integration
Integrating with a scheduling package involves two parts. First, we've worked with ADAGE1 supply chain profile tools to identify fulfillment requirements. Second, we've used database triggers to automatically convert an externally generated schedule into ADAGE1 production/pack orders.
Simplified Production Planning
Many plants have a simple production planning rule; when your projected available balance drops below the safety stock level, make some more. We have built database tools that automate the implementation of this rule.
Crew Level Resource Booking
ADAGE1 resource booking allows you to book labor resources by the hour. We give you the tools to also book resources by crew and shift.
In-Line Q.C.
Automated database routines have been created that periodically prompt the barcode user to enter process control information.
Raw Material Blending Analysis
Frequently, the lot of material used in a blend is chosen based on its attributes. We have built a blend management frame that facilitates the selection of raw material lots based on their Q.C. results.
Directed Production Put Away
Random slotting of materials in your finished goods warehouse will certainly maximize the capacity of your finished goods warehouse. We have built suggested put away logic that allows your warehouse to become more organized over time, based on rules that you define.
Production Costing
In addition to helping customers develop manufacturing processes to support costing, we have also built very efficient, automated cost rollup and rollover routines.
