Kobe Copper Goes Live with ASSISTics

Paoli, PA – Jan 5, 2007 – ASSIST incorporated, a niche supplier of supply chain execution and visibility solutions for the ADAGE user community, today announces that KobeWieland has gone live with ASSISTics in its North Carolina manufacturing plant. KobeWieland is using ASSISTics to manage finished goods from production through shipping.

The metals industry shares several business requirements with the food industry,” says senior consultant Rudy Hollenbach. “Just as food manufacturers need to record which lots a customer received, copper tubing manufacturers need to record which tubing lots and heats were shipped to each customer. ADAGE lot tracking works perfectly and ASSISTics makes it very easy to record lot level shipping transactions on the shop floor.”
